I have the best of both worlds. I was born in the United States, a descendant of Puerto Rican parents. My counseling pathway began over 20 years ago while I was wearing the United States Army uniform. I started my military career as an Enlisted Soldier and then became an Army Warrant Officer. It was during that time I found myself listening to Soldiers of various ranks who found themselves migrating into my office. It was mind-blowing to see how easily Soldiers shared their most intimate memories; broken, lost, and frustrated with life. From a mirrored reflection of what resonated throughout my military years, I sought to pursue an education to better equip myself in the art of listening. I live part of my purpose witnessing clients reach their "Aha Moment" rising up from the depths of some of the most darkest occasions. The beauty of this part of the journey of my life is God allows me to observe his handiwork as He restores clients from brokenness, bondage, and oppression. I am present as a gracious observer guided by the "Great Counselor Himself."
